I respect the hell out of the guys over at Football Outsiders. I don't always find myself agreeing with their stat-intensive analysis, but more often than not they produce detailed, well written work that is nothing if not thought provoking.

Today they highlight one of the unsung heroes of the Packers' defense. Indeed, the sheer awfulness on the defensive side of the ball seems to have overshadowed Al Harris' outsanding year, a year in which there were very real concerns whether he may ever play again after the serious spleen injury he suffered in Week Three. His subsequent return and level of play are simply outstanding.
