He's going to sign a multi-year deal for WAY too much money and continue to be mediocre at everything required to play receiver besides blocking. Being the "number one" receiver on the 2022 Green Bay Packers is irrelevant when you'd be no better than a number three on virtually any other NFL franchise. That's for real, and I personally like the guy.

Spent a whole summer there working at the DOE lab as an undergrad. It was a nice place.

He needs the work too. I oft beat the Packer Org like an old mule at times but this time I think this is a smart move saying: show us your stuff and next year we will reward you with a contract.
I wasn't impressed with him last year and I don't think Packer Org was either.
