General Info: Ojulari was a 4 star recruit coming out of Marietta, GA, and was ranked the #10 weakside defensive end in his class. At Georgia, he was named Most Improved for the 2019 season. He earned the Leon Farmer Strength & Conditioning Award, given to the player whose dedication to the strength and conditioning program resulted in significant contribution to the team. For the 2020 season, Ojulari was named 2^nd team All SEC, 4^th team All America by Phil Steele, was a Chuck Bednarik Award semifinalist, and the Defensive MVP of the Peach Bowl, in which he totaled 3 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. He is only 20 years old and will not turn 21 until June.

Position Skills: Ojulari is an explosive athlete off the edge with great get off. He mostly played in a 3 point stance, but also lined up in a 2 point stance as well. He is a relentless pass rusher who is great at using his long arms to stab and club offensive linemen and get the edge. He shows great dexterity in the ability to bend around the corner while still working his hands to free himself.

He primarily uses his speed while rushing the passer, but every now and then will use that speed to catch a tackle off guard with a surprisingly effective bull rush. Ojulari needs to add moves to his pass rushing repertoire, though, often getting stymied if his stab is countered.

In the run game, he typically holds his ground well, but he needs to work on disengaging from the blocker. He does not show the same consistent motor in the run game as he does rushing the passer. When he is dialed in versus the run, he can be very disruptive as he possesses the athleticism and explosiveness to shoot gaps and cause havoc in the backfield. He will need to add weight and some strength to hold up versus the run in the NFL, but as I noted earlier, he is only 20 years old and will naturally fill out some.

He does have some experience dropping not the flats in the passing game and has demonstrated good awareness while doing so, redirecting slot receivers at the start of their routes. He will need work versus the run as a rookie but should be an effective pass rushing specialist right away.

Fit with the Packers: Physically, Ojulari would be a good fit with Green Bay. He shows great explosiveness as a pass rusher and would benefit from a year to get a little bigger while still being able to rush the passer. He has shown traits that would fit right in with their defense, namely the ability to put pressure on the quarterback from the edge and the athleticism to periodically drop into coverage. With that being said, he may be drafted before the Packers are on the clock, and if he is on the board, a situational edge pass rusher probably isn’t the direction they want to go in the first round.
