All my Hope's and dreams just went down the shitter. Still love the pack, and hoping this all works out somehow. Thanks Nags for pulling me out of the dumpster

It's a lot more than "haters" that hate this draft. I won't use a term like realist, since every one thinks their version of reality is the version of reality.

But I can say I want to be optimistic and see the way it all works out. I do my best to talk myself into seeing it that way. I just cannot talk myself into it with this draft. I could do it with the way they used any one of the first 4 rounds Love at 30 and Dillon at 62 being easier than using the 4th to move up for Love and Deguara at 94. But not all 4 at the same time.

Arron You have to take Gutey at his word. I don't. He's a liar. ( Were looking at WR/ LBs?) And when he got his chance to draft one, it was a complete reversal. Ok, so he blew everyones minds again. He's gone against every draft expert since he's been a GM. How can anyone condone this QB controversy? As Inspiring as Hurts may be to some. Guteys obsession for money is showing up more than winning. And if the Rumors that are circulating are true. The biggest phoney to this franchise is Gutey. When a Gm doesn't care if his team goes to the super bowl or not. What are the fans to think? Doesn't are history matter to anyone now. This draft is just the tip of the ice berg. Remember Kizer, Remember Graham. Remember how Favre warned everybody not to take the ball out of #12 hands. As sexy as running may be to some. It's still not a winning formula. Defense is! So while Gutey tries to bring in Free Agents to make up for his trades. And everyone gets blinded by are stars of tomorrow. IMO this club needs to head in a new direction at GM, more then #12.

I am with Nags. Yep, was stunned and wondered about the draft selections. But like the guys drafted or not, they are on our team now, and I want each and everyone of them to ball-out and succeed. That goes for the undrafted and the free-agent signings as well. Go Pack GO!

I think Gutekunst and LaFleur's design-build draft plan - with a specific theme of re-structuring the offence - seems to have offended popular and amateur opinions about team construction. I love it - as their draft plan was bold and thoughtful. Also I'm giddy about the potential for a dynamic running game - which will serve the Packers well - especially from November on.

Once Nags has the beer flowing everyone becomes a pro bowler and Gute is a genius!

Seems to me that the Niners kicked the Packers ass (twice) with a running game. It felt like Garoppolo would be fined if he threw the ball. With a declining, tired and getting older diva, it would not hurt to have an able and reliable backup to keep a season going if Rodgers goes down for any length of time. Not happy with the trade but there is some merit for Gute's strategy with that pick.

This draft not only set the clock in motion for the departure of Aaron Rodgers, it also set in motion the clock for both Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst. If the drafting of Jordan Love and the imitation of Kyle Shanahan's offense doesn't work, I predict both MLF and BG will be gone in 5-6 years.

If things go south the next season, I think Mike Pettine will be the first to go. If it continues, the next one on the hot seat would be Mark Murphy, he's the one that hired Gutekunst and LaFleur after letting McCarthy & Thompson decline for 2-3 years too long.

Am I hearing correctly that the 2021 WR draft prospects are expected to be even better than this 2020 class?

Thanks for carrying the "G" nags. Like'm or not, they're ours. Don't forget about potentially the biggest off season acquisition, a very well respected NFL reciever coach. Last year was more like a high school coach regarding development.
