JK Scott could miss Colts game

The Packers punter was added to the injury report due to what the team is calling a personal matter

The Packers added punter JK Scott to the injury report on Saturday due to what they are calling a personal matter.

Scott did not travel with the team to Indianapolis.

ESPN reports the Packers worked out punter Drew Kaser earlier this week, perhaps in anticipation of this development.

In other injury news, Kevin King was added to the injury report with an achilles injury. He is listed as Questionable.

UPDATE: The Packers have signed Kaser to the roster.

Birth of a child or a very sick family member for JK I’d guess. I hope everything is well for him. In the meantime we’ve got a real problem. Not having a punter in this game with all of the Covid restrictions to getting outside players on the roster is not good.

As for King: The sooner we move on from him the better. I understand he’s a good player. But he’s not dependable to be active on game day. And frankly, he’s not awesome. He’s good. Not elite. Not worth it. Let him become someone else’s problem.

And we could have had TJ Watt instead of king. I was shaking my head at Ted when he passed over Watt.

Ugh! I hate this kind of late breaking news. I wish the best for them both!

If Scott & King don't play, how will we know?

We need to cut ties with King now and pick up a veteran DB , there has to be somebody out there . As for Scott he was awful against the Jags , we need to look elsewhere.

Why would you cut King when he's signed for the year? He may still be able to contribute this season. As far as signing him to an extension I would be very hesitant to do that. He can't seem to stay on the field.

Regarding Scott, one bad game is no reason to quit on him. I would bring in some competition for him during training camp next year.

Nice Screen name. Haha. I'd suggest "In the Lambeau Room with the Leap" ;)

Perhaps Scott was awful because of the personal matter. I know I have had issues doing my job when I was worried about the health of members of my family.

Is King a walking bandaid? Some guys get hurt easily - some guys cant take and play through pain some guys are just unlucky . Hope that he can get himself into a position where he can contribute the rest of the season. Speaking of that - why are we not getting any update on our Covid guys - it would be nice to hear if Dillon is feeling better or if he had mild or no symptoms or if he needs another test that shows he is negative.

I agree but read that LaFleur is not allowed to comment on COVID cases (or maybe anyone giving an update or guess). I just saw that Dillon and Barnes are still on the COVID list and hope they are both back for the Bears.

Federal law does apply. Along with whatever rules the League and NFLPA worked out. In truth, there is no reason for us, or any other league team to know beyond that they are out. Having just gotten over a case of this myself, even in its mild form it's pretty horrible :-(

KIng is a Freekin TRAIN WREAK!!! That dude is the "pure definition" of "Unavailable". Dude does not have an NFL body. He needs to be off this roster. Love the player on the field, but,,,,,,, he seldom is..

Prayers out to JK, he's not missing a game unless he has some badness happening in family or personal life. God speed brother.. Hang in there..

Thanks Drew, kick it like no tomorrow, relive, and eventually LIVE the dream brother..

Rather not posting what you are the definition for, but we are all know anyway. What kind of body do you have, if someone can called that way?

Trade King for a 5th or 6th round pick-if anyone wants a permanent unable to play player !!

King is under contract, and no team would give up draft picks considering how little he has played. He will probably sign elsewhere in the off season I hope.

JK Scott is questionable? I would say he's questionable every time he punts.

As to King, he needs to get a job at WalMart.

At least Walmart workers have a job, something Lare has never had. He sustains himself by sponging off of the rest of us with his fake disability.

Today the Packers released a punter and it wasn’t JK Scott. Sad.
