LaFleur and staff will coach NFC in Pro Bowl

The Packers staff could look quite different than it did during the season.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur and his staff will coach the NFC for the 2022 Pro Bowl, on Sunday, Feb. 6, at 3 p.m. ET. Tennessee Titans coach Mike Vrabel and his staff will coach the AFC.

It's the first time Green Bay's coaching staff will work the Pro Bowl since 2016.

The distinction of coaching the Pro Bowl teams typically goes to the highest-seeded team in each conference that was eliminated in the divisional round of the playoffs. The Packers and Titans were the top seeds in each conference.

Meanwhile, NFL Media reports that, with the depature of Nathaniel Hackett to Denver, the team has interviewed Chargers tight ends coach Kevin Koger, who was with the Packers as an offensive quaility control coach in 2019 and 2020 for the opening at offensive coordinator.  The Packers are also expected to interview Eagles quarterbacks coach Brian Johnson for the position.

This news follows a report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that the Bears have offered their offensive coordinator position to Packers quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator Luke Getsy.

The Packers coaching staff could look a bit different when they arrive in Las Vegas in February.
