LaFleur looking forward to new voices on offense

The Packers coach will beging the process of moving the offense forward in the coming weeks.

Matt LaFleur spoke with reporters in Indianapolis today at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, touching on topics ranging from his quarterback to his new special teams coach.

I asked LaFleur about the new members of his offensive coaching staff and if he expected Tom Clements and adam stenavich to step right into the roles Luke Getsy and Nathaniel Hackett had when it comes to building the offense this season.

It's an interesting response, leaving open lots of possibilities when it comes to exactly whose voices will be part of the collabrative process that is building what LaFleur has in the past dubbed The Packers Offense.

I like that MLF is always willing to keep an open mind and adapt to different personalities, opinions and ways of doing business. I think if he keeps that up, he'll be a successful coach for a long time. Just maintain that rigid flexibility :-)

I agree that is one of his strongest positive sides. But, to be trully successful NFL HC he has to grow his balls and use it to cut painful loses. You can not allow disonant tones when discussion ends and things start to move.

If you prepare game plan, you have to stick to it, not make it as basic idea and let everyone to adapt the plan at will.

Yes. It sounded kinda vague. But Matt tends to do that anyway. I suppose that he needs to see how the new room functions and what the dynamic and philosophy becomes with new people on the staff.
