I gave him a vote, but unfortunately he is not in the top 5.
Top 5 (they only show the top 5) are:
Peyton Manning
Charles Woodson
Clay Matthews
Calvin Johnson
Hines Ward

Aaron, those were the fan votes and fans are often just cheering for their own guys hence Ward is so high. No doubt Steeler players always have an advantage as they have a huge fan base.
I decided to vote for 5 guys. I voted for Peyton Manning, Charles Woodson, Calvin Johnson, Leroy Butler and John Lynch. i think all 5 are in the final 15.
And to all those who comment yes the Clay Matthews is CMIII's dad. I guess I should have clarified that in my original post as CMIII is not HoF eligible.

Not only is CMIII in no way a first ballot HoF'er, but he might not be a HoF'er at all.

Unlike Mr Naglar and other long time fans I don't think people realize how impactful Leroy was. I still remember when he was injured and like Collins, the profound effect it had on the team. It was an end of an era in a way.
Mr N. did a great job of breaking down all the different aspects of the game that LB cpild bring, found it interesting that he thought LB changed the position. Thinking about it he certainly did.
Box Safety
Blitzer/Sack master
Coverage - he was a CB at Fl State.
Leader
IQ
He could line up anywhere and play so many different roles.
With names like White, Woodsen, Favre a guy Like LB got lost a bit as far as name recognition.

LeRoy was the only Packer not named Reggie White to make the NFL's first team all-decade squad.

He was the heart of the secondary, and the leader right behind Reggie.

Don't worry--he'll eventually get in. His combined numbers and longetivity line up favorably with other HOFers, especially Easley. Sometimes it takes a while to get in; it took Donnie Shell over three decades, probably because he was overshadowed by his teammates.

Leroy Butler should get in. He was a great player. As for CM3 he is not even eligible since he is not retired for 5 years yet. I’m not sure he should be eligible at all.
Thanks, Since ‘61

I'm pretty sure it's Matthews FATHER Since '61. Clay Matthews Jr of coarse is CM3 Pops.
With that said Clay Matthews Jr. was one of my favorite players of that era. Those Browns teams he played on, the "Cardiac Kids" were fun teams to watch. Matthews was a hell of a player too.

LeRoy Butler is a HOF player. Give him what he earned.
However, he’s already a HOF in my book. Great player for the Pack! Will never forget him.

I remember being 6 and thinking it was the coolest thing that he was a safety and got to the qb so often. Safety was always my favorite position to play in streetball cus of him. Also because in real life i was a big fat defensive tackle as a kid. Loved leroy. I always ask people who they think the guy who invented the lambeau leap was, they never guess him. Such a cool tradition he started. Im sure leroy would be proud of allen lazard helping aj dillon with his own leap.
