We have a physical opponent coming to Lambeau next week. I like this as it will be a good experience and practice opportunity prior to our physical match up against Tampa Bay and then the Titans in the SB.... Go Pack!

I saw the low is ONLY suppose to be 8 degrees with winds at 5 to 10 MPH... I'm hoping for it to be a tad colder and smidge more wind.

I work with a bunch of 49ers fans I didn't even know were 49er fans until that year they went to the SB against KC. They sucked SO BAD for SO LONG they never let anyone know. Next Monday at the office they'll be quiet again.

They didn't suck bad enough long enough.

As of right now, I'm seeing low teens at game time and the wind won't impact play, but I'm sure it will make standing on the sideline while getting one's ass whipped really miserable.

I don't put much stock in the weather. Remember we lost to SF in the 2013 playoffs in almost the exact same conditions; then it was 5 degrees, 5-10 MPH winds, and -10 wind chill.

But this time, we're the better team; so we just have to play like it, and CATCH those interceptions when they come our way!

It will be a closely contested game, if the offense comes out cold. Need to hit the big plays right off the bat and get the MO. The Key will be Bosa's injury and if he clears the concussion ritual. Most likely he plays. Lazard to continue his hot streak.

I'd be surprised if the Bill's are not in SB!

They've been very up and down. They might win a track meet or they might flop. Will be interesting to see which Bills team shows up.

After watching the Niners Cowboys game last night , I feel if the Packers do not turn the ball over or self implode they should take care of the Niners quite handily.

The Niners are a tough opponent coached by one of the very best coaches in the league. None of this the Packers should win handedly, or the Packers should win by 5.5 points. This will be a dog fight and if the Pack can get a victory by ANY means that's all I care about. Just Win Baby...Just Win!

The 49ers beat Dallas with Dallas committing 14 penalties. They basically self- destructed.

If the Packers defense plays with discipline and the Packers don’t stop themselves with penalties we should be fine.

The NFL should be embarrassed by the level of play throughout the entire wild card weekend. The losing teams, all wild card teams except Dallas were non-competitive. Not a good look after adding an extra game to the schedule and an extra wild card team to the playoffs for each conference. None of the wild card teams looked like they belonged. Too many very one sided games for the playoffs.

I’m not sure if SF is actually good or the Cowboys just beat themselves with penalties, poor execution and poor coaching decisions.

In any case the Packers have no excuses. At home, healthy, rested and cold weather. If the Packers show up and play they should take this game. GPG! Thanks, Since ‘61

I agree with your assessment. Cowboys looked like they are surprised with SF running game, as they were not expected they would running the ball. Amazing.

Also, the were the most undisciplined team I looked for a while. In each of their offensive 4 downs sets they had at least 1 penalty (mostly holding). You can't win in that manner against Jets or Jags, no way against better opponents.

I also believe that Packers can lose only if they beat themselves, Bosa or not.

Croat the keys will be the Packers OL. They need to be effective in the ground game so that the Packers can move the chains and keep the SF offense off the field. On defense the key will be sure tackling to stop the SF ground game and to get off the field on 3rd downs.

If the Packers can play with a lead we can make SF offense one dimensional, pressure Garapolo and force mistakes.

As of now the weather forecast is for cold temperature but light winds. Therefore I don’t think the weather will be a factor unless the wind becomes stronger by game time. Wind is much more of a factor than the cold.

Either way I expect a physical game. The Packers need to run effectively and pound the SF DL. Hopefully we will plenty of Dillon in this game. Once they wear down the SF defense we can change the pace with the faster and more elusive Jones. Look for Lazard and Lewis in our red zone offense.

If the Packers don’t beat themselves they should be fine.
Thanks, Since ‘61
