First I never thought for a minute Rodgers had any intention to retire. That is one is his beautiful mystery items. I also didnt thing Rodgers really wants to go any where else. He runs this place why go to somewhere where you not the top dog who wags the tail of the GM.
Byt when he came out yesterday and said he would be willing to redo his contract that kind of says he is playing next year and only for the packers. He doesnt want a trade.

No it doesn't. It doesn't mean anything of the sort.

It means whether or not he's playing for the Packers or someone else, he realizes his contract needs to be adjusted.

He has repeatedly said:

It would have to be mutual, between he and the Packers.

He said he wouldn't be a part of a rebuild.

He said he understood if the Packers decided to go younger.

He's said all the right things, and hasn't even decided yet whether he wants to commit to another season.

Tbh, I don't think there is a chance in hell he retires, but I think he's come to the conclusion he will be playing elsewhere next year. We'll know his decision before FA starts and we won't have to wait long after that, until we know what is going to happen, either way.

Wow, that's surprising. I have never believed that Rodgers had any intention of retiring.
