I think we have veterans in the offensive huddle who we can depend on, on the line and in the backfield. The plan should be to use them and make this as easy as possible for the new QB. Hand it off and throw it short. When the down and distance and situation permit it, take your shots downfield. And I don't mean lobbing up jump balls down the sideline, I mean a play designed to get the matchup we wanted that got a guy open.

Like I've been saying, the RB gets his number called about 50% of the time, and that's only about 31 times that is being split between Dillon and Jones. IMO, not enough. These two guys move it over 5 yards/carry or target. Use them. Either one or both of them might be gone next year so let's squeeze out the last drops of juice they have. I truly do believe that just giving these guys the ball behind good blocking will move the ball for us.
