For those that don't want a long-winded post, here is the TL:DR......
Packers draft an OT and figure out his best spot (which might be guard) - check
Long-time starter - check
More pass blocker than run blocker - check
Had a very nice Senior Bowl week - check
In the 6'5 to 6'6" range and between 310 and 325 lbs - check
Excellent athleticism and high RAS (9.24) - check
Multiple team captain in college - check.
Some questions about the arm-length, similar to Clifton, Tauscher, Bulaga and recently, Tom and Walker - hmmm, check
CHTV draft guide got the pick right in their mock.... Hang on, that can't be right ?

Turo!

There were only 4 LTs in the past 2 years who had >80.0 PFF Grades in both Pass Blocking & Run Blocking. JORDAN MORGAN was one of those 4...

In this 2024 Draft Class for Left Tackles, only Morgan & Fautanu had >85.0 Pass Blocking Grades. Morgan's was 87.3.

The dude is a PROTECTOR EXTRAORDINAIRE and a MAULER.

Thanks, Leotis! My work took me out of all my big draft study, and all of this fun stuff. He was a solid choice for GB at 25, especially given it's the 2nd most important position on any team. What I like most about the Jordan Morgan selection for the Packers is he comes in with one hella resume of production at LT, while able to work multiple positions on the OL. Morgan completely shut Latu down when the opportunities presented.

I'm grateful to report I somehow managed to stay off both of those rosters, you D A W G !!! Woof!

Thanks, Guamers! I've missed being able to hang with all my buds here, including yourself. Will pop back when I'm able.

My first two thoughts entering this draft for GB was that Gutekunst was going to pound OL and RUN STOP. Being he signed Josh Jacobs, adding improvements on our OL as legit competitors for starting positions was smart. Big positives to augment the play of both Jordan Love & the RB firm of Jacobs, Dillon & Lloyd.

I like both of the later picks of OC Jacob Monk & OT Travis Glover too.

Good size and quick feet. He did a pretty good job of holding off the 2024 drafts top edge rusher from UCLA. That's a pretty good start.
Team Captain...Gute wants a competitive OL and ability to play multiple positions. TOM: 5 positions, Jenkins: 5 positions, Morgan: 4 positions...I expect the other OL picked will be at least all 3 IOL position versatility. I think Morgan could start, but competition for now. If you watch his highlights he's always checking for a blitz, etc....plays smart.
