It is not just overcoming the injuries which can occur on the field of play, it is also overcoming what can happen off the field of play.
The Minnesota Vikings just lost Khyree Jackson in a tragic crash in Maryland. All indications are that he was an innocent victim of some other driver's monumental screw up. This is not the kind of news I want to read about any team but the lesson is that these things can and do happen. Very sad deal and very unfortunate for the Vikings organization and especially the friends and family of Khyree Jackson.
