I certainly like the idea of using depth to cover for injuries so that starters don't make injuries worse. We don't have that opportunity with #85, but almost everywhere else we do. They also need to develop those they've drafted, and the embarrassment of riches in not just rookies but second and third year players and the difficulties trying to get them all enough snaps is a good problem to have!
Expanding the playbook by using the less experienced players in limited roles has no downside at first, it'll take time for those patterns to emerge for any other teams to have film on it to study. And of course their roles can expand as they master plays and their role within them. Waiting until the playoffs to start that process doesn't seem like winning strategy to me, so yes I'd like to see more of the lesser used players who are doing well.
Bringing Luke Musgrave back in when he's able doesn't need to reduce #85's snap count, I just hope they don't wear Tuck down but have him available at his best possible come the playoffs.
As the current third seed it's not too early to be planning work loads for endurance through the playoffs, even though GB is in a 7-way tie.
GPG!
