Andy keeps saying Matt didn’t lose the locker room… What planet do you live on Mr. Hermann? Last time I looked the offensive lineman the defensive lineman big Rashawn most linebackers other than Cooper the corners those guys didn’t even try. I’m not sure what you call that but I called that lack of leadership and losing the locker room. Stop being a tool. You’re better than repeating the company line and the podcast universe lines. Andy come on.

#52's visible lack of effort might be as simple as he gave up, but if that's really what happened it seems more related to Micah Parsons than MLF.

Handy, I’d ask you to think back to your days as a history, major at the Harvard of the Midwest. As you know, doubt learned, Abraham Lincoln had to make a dramatic move to get things moving and he fired the brilliant well manicured perfectly tailored general George McClellan. As Lincoln said McClellan simply could not lead men. Well, clearly Ed Policy is not Abraham Lincoln… But I think that’s the most app description of Matt LaFleur I’ve ever heard. Brilliant offensive mind. He can sit in the room and come up with the greatest plays pretty much anybody’s ever seen. However, he seems to lose it after doing that and he can’t make decisions on the fly you can go all the way back to the Kansas City game in Jordan loves first start. He did absolutely nothing except follow his plan and almost got Live killed. As for leadership, Matt’s great with the Aaron Rodgers and Micah Parsons of the world…but when it comes to the clowns like Rashawn, Gary and Keyshawn Nixon just no chance / no ability. Instead of playing the we have to coach better after every loss how about kicking some ass…or better yet some walket$

I was not quite as impressed with Hafley as many others .On rare occasions he seemed unwilling to make critical adjustments when needed. For example, for four quarters we saw the RB for the Ravens run for something like 250 yards. Yet, the defensive scheme never changed. Compare to the Bears adjustments with their defense in the second half against the Packers using their secondary as blitzing LBs to virtually shut down the Packer offense which had been running on all cylinders the first half.
And, naturally our offense failed to adjust to the adjustment of the Bears. Obviously coaching is important and whoever makes the better adjustment generally wins. All things being equal.
The Bears blitzed their secondary against the Rams last night effectively until the Rams made adjustments e.g. getting the ball out quicker. That said, it was nice to see the Bears get a taste of their own medicine.

I wasn't either. If he gets the Miami job that's fine.

The qualities that make a good HC and team leader are not necessarily the qualities that make a good play-caller, although it seems that prowess as a play caller is the primary thing that lofts assistants into candidacy for HC.
I'm with you in that I'm not all that against Hafley moving on...it seems JE Sullivan is enamored with him. I'd like to see Covington get the Dallas DC job rather than being promoted to the Packers' DC job which is what I'd expect if Hafley goes.

I’m in y’all’s camp—Hafley is not Fritz Shurmur, Saleh, Buddy Ryan, Flores, or some others. We improved, but not enough.

Sean McVay was visibly stunned by C. William's ability to scramble backwards, in circles then heave that ball into the end-zone to Kmet. He is a clutch player and his sassy coach, though declasse at times, is a brilliant tactician.
Bears will win a SB in 2 years. All they need is a better D and they will make that happen this offseason. Wish MLF would study what brilliant coaches do-sigh.

Karma a bitch, no? Williams sure has some arm talent, but just like last year, and his college days he just can't be trusted mentally. Games too big for him. Reminds me a lot of Jay Cutler.
No wonder they don't let him throw very often.

I really dont think this will play out the same way for Da Bears next season...too much luck involved at time this year...I dont see them winning a bunch of games next year by coming from behind in the 4th time after time...but I do realize they are now a much better team...Packers "should" have beat them three times and the Lions did it twice...

They have weaknesses in their Defense-they have drafted and signed well so far and once their D is stronger they will dominate.

The improvement to the defense was the result of Micah, not Hafley. When Micah went down the defense looked like last year. Bye bye Hafley.

Let's be fair:
Hafley had no CB's, a lazy DE, (Gary), another average, oft-injured DE, (LVN), an often confused LB, Q Walker, under-performers, Wooden, Stackhouse, Brinson and more. Enagbare and MacDuffie have heart but they are back-ups on a contending team (@ best). There were 4 competent players on D--Williams, Cooper, MacKinney & Parsons.
Hafley will look like a genius when he can sign authentic defensive players.

I’ve never seen a defense lay down like the Packers did for the Ravens . Embarrassing . Not all Hafleys fault . Another symptom of a LaFleur coached team . And of course the type of players Gute provides .

With practice squad caliber starting CB's, and only one guy that can deliver a consistent pass rush, does it matter? New DC with a protected sap of a HC and the rest of the regime is still the same. I highly doubt it. I'm glad it's months away.
