He has such great athletic measurables (6'3", 250lb, 4.44 40 time, 40" vert, etc) , I had triple hopes for him. First on ST, then Edge..............and if he cannot crack the edge rush squad (not so easy to do, now), then there might be a possibility for him at ILB.

Maybe his instincts will never catch up to his elite athleticism, maybe he'll be gone fairly quickly like some other very high RAS guys (like Amichia), but I love the idea of that athleticism at ILB, if he could make the mental jump to playing there. Of course, for him to get a try at ILB he'd probably have to strike out at Edge, but there you go.

On Alexander and Jones returning, I think it makes sense to determine their capabilities and to prepare them in OTAs. However, once the season approaches, I certainly hope that others take over. There is sometimes a need for an in game replacement. I hope that is the extent of the plans for such key players.

Crawford seems like he could be a player to watch. Given that there is so little out there on him, it would be a surprise story and a great find if he proves to have true defensive potential.

I agree on Brown he needs good coaching . He has the tools .
