I wonder whether their offense got better. I think that the defenses in the NFC north caught up somewhat.

A great idea for a discussion. Congratulations on thinking of it.

At this point, I don't think we've caught the Bears. And we didn't win a single game against the Vikings or Lions.

So it's hard for me to see us winning the division this year.

I think our defense will be a lot better than last year by mid season. I think our offense will too. Will the Bear’s offense have improved as well? Will Clinton Dix improve or weaken their secondary?

I see the Bears being about the same overall. However, the odds are that they will be a lot less healthy. I am not sure the Vikings got better, I think maybe a little worse. I can’t decide on Detroit but honestly feel we had nobody to blame for losing to them but ourselves: I don’t think they were better as a team except on gameday.

The big question is how much better will we be and how soon will it take for that to show?

That’s going to be fun. It is exciting because I believe we have the chance to be better, and significantly so. I used to love watching D, I think I might again eventually. I feel like we are primed to compete not just try to maintain year on year.
