Packer Snap Counts: Preseason Week 1

OFFENSIVE LINEMEN:
| Player | Snaps | % | STs |
| Monk | 61 | 95 | 5/25% |
| Rhyan | 48 | 75 | 5/25% |
| Telfort | 38 | 59 | 5/25% |
| Newman | 38 | 59 | 4/20% |

| Glover | 16 | 25 | 1/5% |
| R. Walker | 3 | 5 | 1/5% |
| Myers | 3 | 5 | |
| Jenkins | 3 | 5 |
Since the Packers did not want to give Myers, Jenkins, or Tom very many snaps, or any snaps at all, it is not surprising that Monk got a lot of snaps. I suspect that Monk played quite a few snaps at guard, which did surprise me a little. Otherwise, I did not realize that a bunch of players got so many snaps. At least I did not hear their names get mentioned very often.

PFF a little surprisingly named LVN player of the game(thought it would be DuBose):
'"The second-year defender recorded four pressures and two more pass-rush wins for an impressive 28.4% pass-rush win rate across 14 pass-rush snaps. He also notched a stop against the run to round out his notable performance."
The other surprise to me is Goforth prospered(thank you thank you thank you, I'll be here all week)at LB with 40 snaps. Haven't heard his name all camp that I recall. He has an interesting athletic profile but his path to the roster would have to be through STs.

For me the player of the game was Emmanuel Wilson, then DuBose. Van Ness had a good showing though. Goforth made a claim for the PS, (along with Hicks, Mosby and J Wilson & Howard) but I think the absence of both Cooper and Hopper played a big part in his snap count with the little exposure of the starters. I thought Welch had a good game on D, and his ST contribution makes it even harder for Goforth to make the roster. Rochell was another ST standout who had a good game on D. King did himself no harm at all in the slot.

Did you omit Cox’s snaps by mistake, or am I just being blind?
Much appreciate this and the round up as always.

Good eye for detail.

Thank you: it seems PFF agrees with you on his performance too.

Isn't Young an LB, not a DB?
