Rodgers supposedly has a broken thumb since the last snap of the London game, huh?

Well, considering his track record with things like facts, I wouldn't believe it until I hear a Packers source- head coach, medical trainer, etc- say Rodgers has a broken thumb.

That being said, I'm sure his thumb hurts. It may be the reason why we're seeing such an ebb-and-flow with the number of actual carries the running backs are getting from game to game, or maybe even why we see the Packers get away from the run in a game where we've been running successfully or it's just the logical approach to pound the rock, but we don't. I'm quite certain that securely placing the ball in the RB's breadbasket during the exchange probably doesn't feel great on a tender thumb.

If that's the case, they absolutely need to bench Rodgers' sorry ass, maybe IR him. That shit costs us games. We need to play Love either way. Bench Rodgers. Yesterday.

Starting QB breaks his thumb and the Pack loses 6 of 7 games.

Too bad Green Bay didn't invest in a backup QB who could step in for Rodgers if he was too injured too play effectively.

Might be time for Gutey to use some draft capital on the QB position in the upcoming draft rather than on another one of his defensive difference makers.

Don't confuse the lack of willingness to bench the all-mighty Aaron Rodgers and endure his wrath, with a lack of talent of the back up QB.
