Packers add Mike Tyson via waivers
To make room, the team released undrafted wide out Matthew Eaton.
By PackerAaron
As Brian Gutekunst said he would when I spoke to him on my podcast last week, the Packers general manager continues to churn the bottom of his roster throughout the offseason.
Per the transaction wire, the #Packers claimed third-year defensive back Mike Tyson and waived UDFA wideout Matthew Eaton.
Connections to Seattle remain, as Tyson was a 6th Rd. pick of the #Seahawks in 2017. He was in Houston last year.— Jim Owczarski (@JimOwczarski) May 13, 2019

Churning the bottom of the roster is music to my (and Holyfield's) ears.

From packersnews,
"A safety in college, the Seahawks moved the 6-foot, 1-inch, 207-pound Tyson to cornerback, largely due to his 32½ -inch arms. Tyson clocked a 4.56-second 40-yard dash and had a 33-inch vertical jump coming out of college."

I have a great story on that Tyson, Douglas fight in Japan. This Tyson at least was a drafted. Maybe a move back to safety?

As of Monday morning, the Vikings have $664,266 in cap space... and first-round pick Garrett Bradbury still hasn’t signed yet. Hahahahahhahaha

The Vikings will have to cut someone now...lol....this is what happens when you overpay for Anthony Barr. For the fact they haven’t cut anyone yet makes me think they are either in trade talks with a team or they are struggling to find a cut candidate.

Trying to unload Rudolph I suspect

They have to release or trade Rudolph. He is getting 7M in salary this year. Rudolph has already not been willing to negotiate his current deal.
That is what you get when you pay and average QB 89M in guaranteed money. :)

I like this pick up for special teams....
I’m not sure what Tre Boston is asking for but I’m shocked he isn’t picked up yet.

This is what happens when you pay a mediocre QB 84 mil guaranteed.

Didnt Mike Pettine work for Seattle in 2017? Maybe he liked what he saw from the guy and recommended that Gute pick him up.
