All the more reason for GB to Shore up it's pass rush immediately while a perfect bridge candidate is still available for cheap, Jadaveon Clowney. He could even be a 2 year option since he is still only 33 but showing no signs of slowing down. He is projected to get between $3.5 & $5.5 million per year. Why not fill the biggest question mark now and then not worry if Parsons misses 2-4 games?
If GB wants to save more money and get almost the same production from a younger player, then A J Epenesa fits the bill. He is 6 years younger than Clowney but could sign for 1/2 the money after the Browns physical mishap. It serves no purpose to procrastinate and ignore the need while risking the 2 best options on the board, and whose names come up in every free agent articles right now.
Spend the money, fill the biggest question mark, and then we can move on to finding a blocking TE and another depth piece for the OL. Everything else looks to be pretty much solid right now.
