Packers Question of the day - Expectations for Saturday

An early Christmas gift for the Packers could come in the form of a win over the Vikings on Saturday at Lambeau Field.

The Packers go in with an 8-6 record, riding their four-game win streak. Meanwhile, the Vikings are 7-7 and have completely tanked after starting the season 5-0.

What are your expectations for the Christmas Eve game?

I expect a win. It'll be a tough game. The Vikes are talented on D and got embarrassed last week. They know a loss and they're out of the playoffs.

However, I expect to see balance from the O with our new RB1, control the game with tempo and short passes and a couple more takeaways from the D. I feel like this is the game Gunter gets one.

Tough game, short week, but one more in the W column

McCarthy said this team has 'grit', three Division games in a row and all wins would certainly place much needed credence to that, while a loss to the Vikings will place it on the stink pile.
Packers in another tough one..24-20

Never underestimate the vikings. That being said, I feel ARod will have a big day as do Montgomery, Cobb and Adams. I see Jordy getting double covered most of the day. On defense, Ha Ha, Daniels, Datone and Rollins each have big days. I see the Packers winning 28-9.

There's a chance the Packers could actually clinch their playoff spot this week. It goes like this: Packers win, Washington loses, Tampa Bay loses, Atlanta wins or ties and the Packers clinch the strength of victory tiebreaker over the Bucs. That last part depends on results of other games involving teams the Packers and Bucs have beaten. Just win baby!

I have a strange feeling this game won't be that close, especially if Harrison Smith doesn't play. Rodgers tore apart Seattle when Earl Thomas was out and I'd expect some of the same against the Vikings without Smith as long as the weather isn't to crazy. I'd also like to see Cobb start to warm up a bit.

Hoping they win in convincing fashion. That is my Christmas present Tough year, no money, not enough gifts for the kids. A win especially this year and after last year's Christmas game would lift my spirits Use all the newly used weapons, play as a team with energy.

Peterson is out. So my expectation of seeing that Child Abuser carted off the field is no longer viable.

I expect multiple Sacks and a ton of hits/hurries from our D front 7. We should have to blitz at all to get pressure. That Minnesota O-Line is really awful. Their left Tackle can barely move. We should be able to get to Bradford quite a bit.
