So the Packers ran 80 offensive plays and the 9ers ran 48? Wow...
TOP: Packers 35 minutes...

That sure sticks out above all else, doesn't it? Incredible.

Thanks for adding this to weekly content, Al. I used to go looking for this info at other sites. Glad it's now here.

SF saw the GB offense had nothing but shit so they decided to let them shit themselves all game long and get a good laugh...who doesn't laugh at a team eating they own shit burgers all game long.

Dobber the 49ers scored a TD on a 5 second drive after the Rodgers sack/fumble. Later on a 58 seconds drive on the pass to Samuel and then on a 57 second drive on the pass to Kittle. So they didn't really too many plays or very much time to score.
Meanwhile our OL made sure that we ran plenty of plays that either went nowhere or resulted in a sack. On those rare occasions where Rodgers had a chance to actually throw the ball Allison dropped what would have been a first down completion. Then he negated a nice run by Jones with a penalty. Then there is Graham who runs like a deep sea diver on the ocean floor.
That may have been the worst game that I have seen our OL play since the 70s/80s. The 49ers DL was just flat out better than our OL. End of story and end of game. Thanks, Since '61

Not wow. Passing to someone wide open who gets 40 yrds or more means big chunks of turf quickly, no stinkin ball control needed.

The offense was so bad, Mason Crosby played one snap, as required by NFL rule

I don't think that it was a case of our offense being bad, it was, but the 49ers defense was totally dominant. Sometimes you just have to give the other team credit, tip for hat and move on. Thanks, Since '61

I think our offense played poorly for the third time. The big dollar veterans on offense failed ...the penalty, the fumble, the dropped passes........all by the guys who should be our offensive leaders.
I thought Jones/Williams ran hard and got some tough yards.
SF has a good defense, but we made their job easier.

King has been a liability for awhile now. The “plays” he’s made this year have mostly been right place-right time “gifts” and not attributed to his skill set.
Biggest need: DB’s coaching, WR, and Tackle

An inside linebacker that scares people. One that the opposing offense has to account for on every single play, not target.

Yes, it was Martinez giving up those long TD passes. Kittle sucks and should have been stopped by any competent ILB....

The 50/50 timeshare of Jones/Williams is VERY MMish.

I would argue it's much more a function of one being a superior pass blocker and good receiver added to negative game flow.

Actually with the keying of the defense on Jones and the lack of holes, I thought using Williams was preferable.
Clearly his power would have had a better chance on fourth down with his strength vs Jones' slashing.

How does Gary only earn 13 snaps on a night where the game was over early? How does he not see the field even for practice reps?

Because he is not good enough. Very athletic no agility at all Cant change directions and is lost on the field. Thats why he was not drafted earlier. Other teams noticed this

He was Gutt`s choice before the combine. Why, oh he fits our mold, can play two diff positions.
Ya and neither one very well is your answer

On defense, too many guys on the bottom portion of that list that were drafted in the first three rounds. Hopefully a new process for defensive talent evaluation is in the works, because there clearly needs to be one.

I think our primary concern is an offense that

Does someone here knows why always good TE thrives against our defense?. Who is to blame? Martinez? Amos? Savage? Cornerbacks? Pettine? Lack of good run defense?
I mean, not only that, we have average to good players in most of the positions, the only ones I still don't count on are Martinez, Lowry and King. Can 3 to 4 players have that impact on the entire performance? I know the guys held up for a while and our offense and ST didn't help at all, but it seems to me that there is a lot of big plays every game... Is it Pettine system?
Not to say about the offense. Man, it is easy to throw the OL under the bus now, but at least they played OK in other games. What I can't stand are the receivers. Geronimo Allison and MVS always have at least 2 easy drops per game, all receivers (except Adams) seem like playing in slow motion every time. If you go against one of the best pass rushers in NFL, your run game doesn't work and your receivers can't get open even on short routes, then there isn't much you can scheme about it.
Everyone talks a lot about third-and-long situations, but everyone noticed how they get there? it is not only penalties... Actually, it is a lot of incompletions or receivers unable to get open on short routes.
P.S. I do believe LaFleur is often predictable, but in this game, there is nothing much else he could do about it.

Need more Tony Brown less Kevin King , and let’s see how Ty Summers does at inside linebacker. Draft priorities next year, inside LB , receiver , punter .

Not going to rewatch it but why are 95% of Rodgers throws within 3 yards of the line of scrimmage or outside the numbers? We very seldom attack the middle, which has been declared by many as the hardest area to guard. And where are the screens and draws to slow down the rush? Have slants disappeared from our offense? Still happy we are 8-3 but seems like a hollow 8-3 and this offense is hard to watch at times.

Hey we drafted at 12. Should have been a play maker and possible game changer on defense. Someone to make a difference. I knew Gary was a horrid pick from day one having seen his play at mich.
Im shocked he is worse then I imagined. Point, this team couldnt afford to make drafting mistakes. This curtent team is a result of that. Pass d non existant, no linebackets.
