Packers will reportedly host Browns for joint camp practices

Matt LaFleur indicated earlier this week that he had a team in mind for another summer session of joint workouts.

Jim has the goods:

Coach Matt LaFleur said this past week the Green Bay Packers have an agreement in place to again welcome another NFL team to training camp for joint practices in 2020.

PackersNews.com has learned through multiple league sources familiar with the planning that, barring unforeseen circumstances, the Cleveland Browns under first-year coach Kevin Stefanski will be heading to Wisconsin.

LaFleur was very pleased with what he and his team got out of last summer's joint practices with the Houston Texans. (His quarterback, not so much.)

Get ready for Baker Mayfield and Odell Beckham, Jr. riding bikes to practice...

I hope that thug Myles Garrett stays far away from Rodgers.

I kinda side with Rodgers on this one. I know that the coach likes it and there are positive things about joint practices at home. The risk of injury is what scares me. Players will be playing hard and some will be fighting for a spot on their team so it’s hard to dial back on the hitting.

I do see the value of joint camp practices but IMHO the risk outweighs the rewards. One hit to the wrong area from a over zealous Browns player to a key Packers player like Rodgers, Adams, or Jones for example just isn't worth it at the end of the day.

I think OBJ would be a good fit on Green Bay I didn’t like him on the Giants but I think he has matured some and just wants to win. I met him once randomly in NYC and he was actually pretty humble and quiet . Adams and OBJ would be quite the one two punch.
