Packers 1st drive in 3rd quarter was a big bust too. They get to the Rams 34 and then complete a 8 yard pass and have a 2nd and 2 and pass instead of run. But they still have a 3rd and 2 and decide to pass again and Rodgers gets sacked. Are you kidding me?! Jones averaged over 7 yds a carry in the game and you pass it twice. NOW there ia some bone headed calls.

Yeah that was a bad sequence. The Packers NEVER seem to run the ball the 3rd down, regardless of yardage. Pretty predictable.

Will the Browns give up a draft pick for MM? My feeling is they can get a draft pick. Gute is the only one that will change the roster. Let's not be stupid and fumble the pick away. Sign MM. Nit picking. The stupid will lead the blind.

Got back late last night from LA after that tough defeat. First, I want to say the Packer fan showing in the LA Coliseum was awesome. I don't know how it came across on TV but the Coliseum was a regular green and gold rally. Best fans in the league.
On the game itself, it was an offensive failure that it took the Pack until later in the 2nd half to really open up the offense. I have no idea what Montgomery was thinking. If you had asked me before the game would I take a 2 point deficit 2 minutes on the clock and the ball in Aaron Rodgers hands I would have taken that all day, every day. Total missed opportunity.

Nagler, I thought I heard you say at around the 10:55 mark, "...Nick Perry's contract becomes manageable starting this off-season and Packers could cut him..."

I'm not sure what you mean by manageable. To me, incurring $11.4m in wasted/dead cap space (cap space on players no longer on team) is not good cap management IMO. Is it doable, yes, but it's fiscally irresponsible from a salary cap perspective. Eating $11.4m in cap space without having said player on the roster is not something the Packers have done before for good reason.
