Nah he had every intention of showing up, he just got caught up in Indy during the lead up to the NCAA championship game. Timing just got messed up.

The Mercilus news is very good news! Wonder if the Packers sort of kept his status under wraps on purpose? Sort of a trickling back of injured players for shock value. Cha ching! GPG!
