That would be bad if he leaves. I have no faith in MLF to replace him with someone capable.

Gute had better do the hiring, there.

Oh? How do you think he got to title town?

He was a no brainer. One of the best ST coaches in football was unemployed. MLF didn’t have the brains to fire Drayton, to sit Kevin King, or dump Pettine or Barry until it was too late.
I think he’s totally overrated in every aspect of coaching and now that Rodgers isn’t carrying him his stock will plummet

Bisaccia I think is a better coordinator than head coach as is the case for a lot of coaches, but good for him.

Well, Raiders were playing much better under his time as interim coach, that is for sure.

They will not sign him. They will go younger.

I almost hope for his own sake that he doesn't get the job. Not a great organization, and by no means a quick fix--there's a lot of work to getting that offense up to par, and they'll need to develop a QB.

Yep, another poor ran upper management that was so bad protecting Luck as QB he called it a career a decade early. That's job #1. If you don't get that right, nothing else is gonna be.

Well, I suppose he'll take Nixon with him.

Don’t forget his assistants. He brought them with him too.

Coldworld, you know that I don't think that special teams makes much of a difference, and it doesn't matter if your coach eats fire and craps fiery demons.

I hope you enjoyed Nixon's return as much as I did? The last time we returned a kick for a TD was in 2011 (Cobb). And prior to that, you have to go back to the mid-90s and Roell Preston. That's it.

Balance that against all the fumbles, penalties, and injuries that have occurred on kick returns during the last 25 years and tell me how you feel about that. I think it's a loser's bet, and I'd play the percentages instead, and I wouldn't need Bisaccia or his assistants. Get the ball and give it to the offense. Start on the 25.

That said, he seems like a good guy who did a good job for us. I hope he doesn't take Nixon with him, because I think Nixon is clearly one of the 10 best DBs on this roster even without the returns.

I'd like to see him stay, but this is the profession. You work hard and take advantage of opportunities when they are presented.

I certainly don’t begrudge it. I thought it was widely known he’d likely get chances, having arguably justified a shot at the permanent HC role last year. My point is that, since we knew that, I hope we’ve taken steps to ensure that we retain the knowledge we paid for. If it was all purely rental, that’s simply incompetence yet again from LaFleur.

And Leavitt and a few other players we picked up that were who Bisaccia wanted on STs, for the Packers.

Leavitt was okay. I think the pickups of Eric Wilson and the decision to draft Tariq Carpenter were by far the best in addition to Nixon's acquisition in terms of Special Teams personnel.

I like Rich B. I see many people saying they don't think he'd be a good HC, but I'm not so sure. Remember, he came in for the Raiders after they fired Gruden mid-season and went 7-5 with a crappy roster and got them to the playoffs. Remember, the 2021 Raiders didn't have Chandler Jones or Davante Adams - they were pretty bad.

I sure hope Rich B stays, as part of me actually sees him as a candidate to replace MLF as the Packers' HC after 2023. He isn't an offensive or defensive genius, but he seems smart in his coaching hires, and most importantly, he has passion for his job and the ability to ignite his players to play for him. That, right there, is the stuff that makes true Head Coaches.

Once again the GB franchise comes to a crossroads completely unaware that it even existed until right in the intersection.

Make the right choice?

Not Mark Murphy.

Bisaccia is the only coach on the Packers whose unit actually showed improvement and competence on a consistent basis.

Not Barry. Not Stenovich. Not HC LaFleur. Not even position coaches such as Butkus or Gray.

Now faced with losing the only positive on the coaching staff Murphy needs to consider what it might take to keep Bisaccia around and it seems as if terminating MLF and elevating RB to HC is an actual consideration. MM will definitely NOT make the right choice here.

The GB franchise is heading down the wrong road with Murphy meddling in the football decisions and this is yet another example of that in huge capital letters.

Maybe Murphy can sell the Sledding Hill and offer the proceeds to Bisaccia, as an incentive to stay, in GB?

Bisaccia & Gray being interviewed. WOW!

Sometime this offseason after a difficult 2022 season good news would be welcome. I really hope Nixon is resigned regardless if Bisaccia departs.

Wonder if these coaches leave would impact AR's decision? No doubt like us fans he sees them both as assets.

Good for you Rich! You were the only decent coach on this staff, bar none! Its going to hurt the Pack which is bad for us. But you deserve a HC gig. Can't wait to see what poor decision MLF will make to replace you?
