Preston Smith returns to practice
The veteran outside linebacker has never missed a game in his NFL career.

Packers outside linebacker Preston Smith, who suffered an oblique injury during last Sunday's game in Chicago, practiced for the first time this week and will be listed as Questionable, according to head coach Matt LaFleur.
Smith has never missed a game in his NFL career and will be given up until game time to prove that he's ready to go.
In other injury news, Kevin King and Darnell Savage both practiced on Friday. KIng is hoping to return from a shoulder injury suffered two weeks ago in Cincinnati while Savage is still in the concussion protocol, but has a chance of being cleared in time for Sunday's game against Washington.
LaFleur indicated that both offensive tackle Dennis Kelly, who is dealing with a back injury, and center Josh Myers, who has a knee injury, will miss Sunday's game.

I just read he and kind and savage are questionable. What that means no one knows. Kind should be put on the practice squad permanently.

Anyone have an update on Dafney , I don’t think he was lost for the season .

The team has 3 weeks from October 13th to reactivate him. As soon as they do, he occupies a roster spot, so they would have to clear one first, as is the case with Bakh. Other than that, no word.

So I don’t see Elgton Jenkins on this list, so I’m assuming he’s good to return. That would help.

He played last week, so yes, he'll play again this week. I hope both King and Savage can play. No reports of Bak and MVS coming off PUP. Hopefully soon

Preston's a warrior. One of our best defensive acquisitions. Reminds me a little of Julius Peppers.

I think we can wait until AZ to bring P. Smith back.
Bak will probably return for the KC game.
If Savage isn’t cleared for WFT it sounds like he’ll be cleared for AZ. Same for King.
The key is get as many of our guys back as possible in time for the AZ game. Then we get a mini-bye before KC which should give our guys additional recovery time.
Have not heard anything concerning either Alexander or MVS. It would be good to know how they are progressing.
