Rodgers, Adams, Bakhtiari and Linsley are AP All-Pro first-team selections

Jaire Alexander was robbed.

Four members of the Green Bay Packers have been named to the Associated Press NFL All-Pro Team.

One noteable absence is Jaire Alexander.

Jaire got robbed. Frankly, so did Elgton. Clark and Z should be close too. Hell, Tonyan, Savage and Amos too.

Jalen Ramsey is fantastic, but it’s pretty clear some AP voters aren’t paying enough attention to Jaire. He literally erases the side of the field he’s covering. I do wonder sometimes if the fact that he doesn’t get more credit (All Pro 1st team) is because he plays on the other side of Kevin King, who granted has gutted through injuries this year, but is clearly a more favorable matchup for opposing offenses.

When the opposition does not test you is it really a test? The best tests that I have are the ones I did not have to face because I did not need to.
Yah, he was robbed because of his his own success and despite his swagger he isn’t one of the mouthy, irritating, sound bite ,click bait players. I feel sorry for him because I think he deserves attention but that’s ok and I am happy we have him.

Cornerbacks Xavien Howard (Dolphins) and Jalen Ramsey (Rams) were given the nod ahead of Alexander.

It’s very confusing to understand why Alexander was left off of the first team. The only knock against Alexander was his interceptions. He had just one interception this year and it was in the first week against the Vikings while covering Adam Thielen. In the same game, he also recorded a sack and a safety.

According to Pro Football Focus, Jaire was the top cornerback in the league.

Jaire Alexander allowed fewer yards this season (450) than Howard (918) and Ramsey (515). He also allowed fewer receptions, yards per reception, yards per target, and pass break-ups. He led the league with 18 pass break-ups.

The only thing Howard really has on Alexander is 10 interceptions, which is impressive, so I can see why he would earn first-team honors. But Ramsey, who was behind Alexander in most defensive categories, also had just one interception this season as well.

In my opinion, Alexander was much more deserving of first-team honors than Jalen Ramsey was. Unfortunately, while he had a nice season, I think it was Ramsey’s name and reputation that got him that spot on the first team.

Was a little surprised Bakhtiari got 1st team with how many games he's missed this season, but it helps solidify a HoF career, so I won't complain (now 2x 1st teams, 3x second teams - just one more 1st team would just about guarantee his HoF status).

Well not bad for a washed up over the hill QB. Just shows how much the so called experts on here really know.

First congratulations to AR, Bak, Adams and Linsley.
Alexander was snubbed. When the same thing happened to Nitschke he played like a man possessed and dominated the post-season.

I’m expecting Jaire to do the same assuming opposing QBs even throw his way. I’m hoping they do and I’m expecting that he serves the voters a big bowl of crow.
Thanks, Since ‘61

I love Jaire, but as long as he's not getting INTs he's going to struggle to ever get 1st team All Pro. He's an outstanding cover CB but others who are as good or close and get a few more INTs will always get the nod over Jaire.
