Interesting, appears there may be no 7th WR. And no RB cuts that we know of outside of Phillips (so far), correct?

Odd about the WRs since Geronimo is out the first game unless Crockett is selected.
Has Crockett been cut yet?

Not that I have seen, but my guess is that he has been cut. If so, that would mean the Packers will likely play Seattle with 5 WRs, or they pick-up another WR at some point.

I feel safe saying there is no way Crockett made it over Dupre, Yancey or McCaffrey. They will go the first week with five and then bring Allison on in week two.

Food for thought: I just had someone on twitter just suggest they may be going with fewer WR because of the TE additions this year (more two TE sets). Thought that was interesting...

I think it's a safe bet that at least one of Yancy, Dupre, Clark or McCaffery will be picked up. If Pack can get 3 to PS, that would be good enough.

Price is being reported as being released. This is big in my opinion as he was one of the "best players available" on the bubble once the WRs were determined. Almost certainly means that Gilbert has made the roster (at least for now) IMO.

It's possible that once Adams gets officially IR'd they will sign either Price or Gilbert onto the 53. Not sure if that will happen but it might, but of course Brooks needs to get added too so maybe not.

I'm hoping they move Adams to IR, sign Brooks, locate a C/G, cut Patrick and McCray, and fill that last roster spot with McCaffrey or Gilbert.

There are rumors that Datone Jones could be released with an injury settlement. If this is true, does the Pack take him back over Fackrell?

The keeping of McCray and Patrick tells me that Barclay will NOT be ready to go week one and possibly week 2. You would think they are "combing the desert" (SpaceBalls), for a veteran that's been released.

"You mean future all-pro (fill in team) LB Gilbert?"

No, I mean the serviceable back-up at best who has potential to excel on special teams.

As opposed to Fackrell, who has done absolutely nothing since adorning the Green and Gold. Nothing. Can't beat 3rd string TE's around the edge. 3rd round bust.

I'm less a huge Gilbert fan and more a Fackrell doubter. He hasn't shown a glimmer of potential. Put someone out there who has a motor and may with a little experience, blossom into a regular contributor and/or a solid backup. This is one of those classic TT mistakes where, despite everyone else seeing a complete lack of potential/talent (MD Jennings, Zombo, Mulumba, Don Barclay), they just keep hanging onto a roster spot, preventing new blood from being given a shot.

Fackrell is likely cut next year and won't do anything this year. Nothing.

Beat writers are reporting that Williams, Mays and Jones have been told they have made the 53. Also that McCray, Lucas Patrick and Pipkens have been told they've made the roster. Really, really, hate the idea that 9 or probably 10 OL made this roster when I don't see more than 6 that can play.

Don't worry TGR, at least one of those o-lineman will be gone when Bulaga or Barclay show they can play. But it shows how bad the backup group is when Barclay is considered a significant upgrade.

Not sure what he has on MM and TT, but he would not be in the NFL if those two didn't have some strange love affair with the guy. He was decent, or at least serviceable, when filling in at RT prior to the knee injury. He's been horrendous since. Absolutely horrendous.

One cannot be considered "versatile" just because he's been proven to be bad at many positions. Kills me when people defend him due to his versatility. Its just utter BS.

When you've got tight competition at a position, and you've got a handful of guys at other positions that are PUP'd or IR'd that you know will be taking a roster spot down the road, you keep the competition around as it lets you get at least six more weeks of practice (and maybe even live game performance) to appraise their value... then you can release the ones who don't rise up to accommodate a player returning from injury etc.

McCray or Patrick or possibly both will be cut when Barclay and Buluga are deemed ready to go again. They could also be cut if GB finds a better fit on the waiver wire.

With the QB spot, they must feel they can get at least one of the two - Callahan or Hill back on the PS. Willing to let the other one go. Now if both leave then it gets interesting.

If I'm correct they kept Kerridge. Another possible cut when they bring in someone else. A lot of RB's

I thought Price and Ringo did outstanding when in there together. I also wanted McCaffrey. I hope they can keep McCaffrey and Clark on the P.S. McCaffreys decision making on special teams was very good...those kind of instincts really can't be taught.

Disappointed about Ringo over Price. I personally believe this is a mistake.

Surprised that Max McCaffrey didn't make it. I thought he might have made himself a "can't cut" after last week.

File this under "I know they'd never do it, but..." I would have cut bait with Spriggs. I generally appreciate that the Packers play the long game with development, but Spriggs looks decidedly worse than he did a year ago.. against 2nd and 3rd string competition. Dumpster fire. I would have cut his ass and risked it with an undrafted street FA tackle at this point.

Assuming an OL gets cut for Allison, assuming a RB gets cut for Beigel. Ahmad Brooks? I don't know. Not likely, but I could see the Packers deciding to pass even though they reportedly signed him. He's a bad apple.

Go Pack.

Glad Ringo made it, he had a good camp. If Price ends up on our PS then more than enough depth there. They must feel Adams is close to coming back if they didn't IR him. EDIT: guess they'll move Adams to IR once they sign Brooks.

Tremendous depth in the secondary. Especially at safety. We were wondering for a while whether it would be Gunter or Pipkins - turns out both.

This roster is far from being set. There's still a number of players who could be gone after future maneuverings - Mays, Pipkins, Patrick, McCray and Ringo better not buy a house just yet.
