Hello TJ Slaton and other rookie D line man name escapes me. Lowry and Lancaster total backups at best. Kevin King deer in headlights look your time has come, Stokes was pretty good last night will take some time. You didn't see him miss time his jump and start flailing away like fish out of water. Towards end the guy literally jumped over King kind of funny but sad GB would waste the cap space on this stiff. Big test this weekend young O line going to be put to the test. Joe Barry still not seeing the attraction 1st half you got taken to pound town and not in a good way. Tough schedule

Good:
Division home W

The Bad:
Packer fans turning blue and passing out from holding our breath when the Defense is on the field. Defense has now given up 666 yards in only two games, Pethetic !

The Ugly:
If beating my chair while D is on the field was illegal I'd be arrested for domestic furniture abuse.
Front office don't get it. Defense is extremely light on talent, they need to bring in some big guns because this D would have a hard time trying to stop a floaty balloon in a mild breeze.

Where is my F***ing Cigar?

666 yards in two games is 10th best in the league. Above average. Not “pethetic”.

We’ve drafted with an emphasis on defense for as long as I can remember. I don’t think there is a lack of talent in that side of the ball. I put it more on scheme and coaching.

GB has NOT been drafting with emphasis on Defense. "Coaching" Really? Not so.
Who are the "stoppers" on this defense? Who is the leader or leaders with their play? Who is the one person that other teams need to double-team or even have a constant awareness when on the field? Can you name them, how about just one, can you name one??? How about pass-rush? If you see ANY, please point it out to me ! And as a team effort, who sees real pursuit that makes offenses nuts? None of which is on this team !

We will have to agree to disagree here.

Well, we did stop most of their possessions. After their opening drive, they only scored 10 points. That’s not going to be enough if our offense shows up.

I mean, our offense scored TDs on 5 of 9 possessions.
Our defense gave up 2 TDs in 9 possessions.

But I guess that being successful 5/9 of the time is better than being successful 7/9 of the time.

The Good: Packers showed commitment to RUNNING the ball. The second series they had a three and out pass, pass, pass. They then got back into running enough to set up the pass.

The Bad: Not enough pressure on Goff. They need to figure out how to generate pressure without Z. I mean did we even blitz in this game?

The Ugly: Several miscommunications on defense. The Stokes/King breakdown resulted in a wide open TD. Can’t happen.

The good - Eric Stokes in his second NFL game has already surpassed Rashan Garys rookie season number of impactful plays.

The bad - Kevin King is still on the GBP.

The ugly - This defense looks absolutely like a blast from the Packer past from the 1980's.

The Good: Packers offense especially the second half opening drive and overcoming penalties on the second drive in the second half to open up their lead.
Defense came together in the second half. Stokes played very well and is probably ready to take over for King.

The Bad: Where's the pass rush???

The Ugly: Kevin King, again.

On to SF. GPG! Thanks, Since '61

Aaron I think fans have a right to be frustrated with the packers defense. They got to step it up cause this performance wont work against superbowl caliber teams

PLAY HEFLIN he couldnt possibly be worse than Lancaster. There is not ONE other NFL team that would have rolled with Lancaster and Lowry as primary starters for THIS long. I'd be willing to bet everything I own on that one.

Devondre Campbell is very active, he had good coverage on Hockensen on the TD i dont have a problem with that play it was a great throw and catch. The facemask was stupid but 13 tackles and an INT are Nick Barnett type numbers.

Stokes has me excited. Backup OLBs didnt get home but seemed to hold up better than I would have thought.

Time to play Heflin.

The Good: The offense! Moving Alexander around. I loved this! One of your best players on this defense, does not need to be stationary. The Bad: The DL. The ugly: Rodger's throws to MVS. I enjoyed this game..

The good: Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Aaron Jones, Jaire Alexander, Eric Stokes with 3 great plays in limited snaps, Kylin Hill getting more than 20 yards on 2 separate returns, and just a great home opening win

The bad: virtually no pass rush, spotty pass blocking yet again, MVS looking like he runs a 4.7 out there and not being able to break away from his defenders

The ugly: Kevin king and the entire first half defensive gameplan. Having one of the best CB's in the league does absolutely nothing for us if the quarterback can look to the left side of the field for an entire half and not attempt a single pass toward the right. They need to shore up coverage wherever Alexander isn't, but to their credit they started moving him around and the defense seemed to play a lot better after that.

Summary: it's just one game, yet again, against an injured and rebuilding team. With that being said, it was a good demonstration to show that they still have it.

They scored touchdowns on 2/3 of their first half possessions. You can't expect a score on every single drive.
