The Good: The first half, Alexander & Jenkins.
The Bad: Special teams- poor punting contributed to poor field position, Shepard is no threat on kick-offs. Missed tackles again at the worst times. Rogers draining the clock down when time was of the essence.
The Ugly: Turnovers and penalties were killers. They slowed us down, contributed to the loss of Mo never seemed to get it back till the last drive when backs were against the wall. Need a sense of urgency all game.

The good: Elton Jenkins and I'd add Kenny Clark. Clark drew a lot of penalties from the Colts linemen.
The bad: The nonchalant play of the offense in the second half and the lack of 2nd half adjustments by all phases.
The ugly: Special teams play, again. Defense that has Preston Smith in pass coverages and whoever has Kirksey constantly out of position on the run fits the entire second half.

The Good: Elgton Jenkins seamlessly transitioning to Center in the middle of the game. Great job.

The Bad: Coaching and Discipline. How many times will Packers jump offside? How many failures in ball security? Special Teams continue to be sub par. Defense? First half was ok. Second half? Did the talk at halftime? About what? How they can disappear in the 2nd half?

The Ugly: For the love of God, someone please design a short yardage play or at least draft an outline. We are 10 games in and we have no plan for short yardage.

The ugly: General "Pettine" and his " Maginot line" defense. it appears to me General "Pettine" wishes to setup a "puppet" defense and let the enemy conquer us.

The Good : Scoring 28 Points and having a 2 touchdown lead in the first
half in spite of turning the ball over 2 times.

Even prior to emptying the purse for Bahk's extension, I imagine management has felt they need to scheme Jones perceived value lower in a contract year by only giving him 10 carries, sparingly a goal line look, and avoid "cute" 4th & 1s.

Ugly. Not having a RB that will get you 1 yd.

The good: first half offense, Kenny Clark returning to form, having #23 back.

The bad: play calling designed to get 3rd and manageable and then wetting yourself when you get it, tackling, recent ball security, JK Scott punting, special teams without Ervin.

Ugly: Linsley walking to the locker room. Hope he's ok.

The Good: Aaron can run a 2 minute drill with our offense. ESB had a nice catch. Elgton, a great pick and a sure All Pro. As Versatile as they come.
Bad: Defense getting burned, play after play, up and down the field. Rivers eats Pettine's scheme for lunch. We needed to score a TD in that 2 minute drill.
Ugly: Why is Preston Smith in pass coverage, ever? Why not keep him on the D line going after the QB? An ugly loss made uglier by turnovers and penalties.

There is no G,B&U this week. There is nothing to focus on other than the failure of MLF and MP to solidify the defense. It is no longer just on MP. Somebody (bodies?) made the decision that we have good enough players on D not to change anything. So this is all on them.

Ok - that was my "gut reaction". But the truth is that the turnovers will kill you and they did. But with that defense, the death will be painful. And it was.

Good. Jaire. The o line. K clark and rashan gary. The energy in the first half. Whatever. Wasnt enough.
Bad. Preston smith again. Pettine putting p smith in coverage on trey burton in the red zone. Billy winn and rashan gary not playing hardly in the second half. They are better than the guys ahead of them. Costly fumbles.
Ugly. Special teams. The fact that the d brought the intensity and it still wasnt enough. Maybe too much intensity at times. Example. The smiths crashing so hard on end arounds and sweeps. Wasnt "soft", it was undisciplined. They need to just play there roles. With k clark playing better, the olbs need to contain. Or they will just hit that edge every time. The running game has been ugly as well. Cant we get a push man on man on 3rd and short? It seemed easy for the colts. Still, as bad as it was, this offense can carry us. And the d has 6 more games to improve. Still hope.

Our ST's suck again. It's gotten so bad I feel elated if we can get a kick return to the 20 yard line without a penalty or fumble.

Remember last year when they had net negative punt return yardage late in the season until they picked up Ervin. Now this year, again, we get nothing in the return game. It seems to go on forever.

And what about our D?
Despite the investment of the majority of GB's draft capital and free agency dollars they serve-up chunks just like a drunken frat-boy at a St Patty's Day party.

Good- bomb to MVS, getting Lazar back, Alexander and Clark
Bad - bewildered we don’t kick field goal on 4-1 AND THEN TRY TO THROW FOR IT. Failing to use Jones enough.
Ugly- MVS OT fumble and whatever the team did in the locker room at halftime to reverse what was working.
Coaching is starting to worry me. No discipline. No adjustments. No clue

The good:

Run blocking from the wide receivers/tightends.

The bad:

Lack of commitment to the run game.
The in consistency from the run defence.

The ugly:

J.k Scott's punting.

P.s. I heard mvs received death threats after the game they should find who sent them, stick them in a rocket along with the press guy that asked lafleur how can he live with mvs & fire them at the sun!

Believe the Smith's sack success last year and the attention they received because of it is hindering the defense success this year. They are jumping offsides anticipating the snap, and rushing up field not holding the edge. Offenses are anticipating their behavior and exploiting as a result. Stop the hemorrhaging!

In the second half, the defense was called upon to resist and did not. Of all the Colts possessions, only 1 punt ..... The Colts defense was called and answered PRESENT
I also believe that with these types of defense (very strong physique and very limiting the run) the 1st down of the actions must mostly be hand passes after feints of movements (even for short yardage) otherwise we become too predictable.
Last thing ..... I'm still thinking about the lost time out (to reverse the call of Sheperd's nonsense) that we missed at the end of the game and forced a quick and little thought out execution .....

Worst Packer draft ever. Moronic front office!

The Good: First half offense. Kenny Clark, Billy Winn, Jaire Alexander.

The Bad: Entire second half in all 3 phases of the game. The Colts came out and ran 8 straight running plays and I didn’t see anything change to stop them. Speaking for myself, I’m not sure how we play defense. What are we trying to do on that side of the ball? It’s becoming unwatchable.

The Ugly: Watching Aaron Rodgers waste about 20 seconds trying to get the Colts to jump offsides during the last minute of the first half? What are we doing? Why is that allowed? Yes, I know we scored a TD on that series thanks to DPI against MVS, but do we really need to waste time on the clock during our 2 minute drill to draw the opponent off sides?

Love AR .. but something is just off .. can't figure exactly what it is ... focus ? .. he is throwing off his back foot .. like golf players always working on swing .. maybe he needs to look at it? His attuited is just a bit to relaxed ... no pun intended.. he was not laser focused on last play ,, didn't even peek at Tonyan ... so with all the turnovers we still had it won ..just a matter of moving his eyes for 1 second.. this is the 1st time that I really got upset with AR :-( Maybe his head is getting to big for his helmet ? AR is ---The Good - Bad- and Ugly .

I think everyone here needs to give Pettine more credit. He had a plan and it worked. Keep the Indy offense on the field so long that they get exhausted and can only hold the Pack to stay upright. Clever! And it almost worked.
Seriously though this team is now going to be looking over its shoulder every time it has a lead and will get very conservative offensively, very handsy on the defense and we can only guess what the special teams might decide to do. Nobody will want to make a big mistake and so nobody will make a tough play. Until they punch back against a real team, not the likes of Jax, they will be disrespected by every team in the league because they know the Pack does not have an answer, on the field or in the coaches room, to why aren't they a championship caliber team.

Good: I agree with the earlier posts on this thread but I'd like to add a surprisingly good effort by Kevin King. After missing months with injury I was pleasantly surprised that he played every snap of D, made some good tackles and did a reasonable job in coverage. I know there will not be enough salary cap space to sign everyone, and King's injury history is too important to ignore. But when healthy, he can be a very solid #2 CB.

Bad: Is JK Scott injured? He seems to have lost about 10 yards of distance on his punts. What's up with that?

Ugly: I can't stand watching the D! It is painful to see the same problems over and over.
