As the snow came down in the second half, viewers got a storybook victory, with Brett Favre besting Mike Holmgren one last time and getting a final win in the green and gold at Lambeau Field.

The year before, Brett Favre made his return to Green Bay amid a very hostile atmosphere and pulled out a tough win over his former team. This year, though, the Favre magic ran out. Mike McCarthy’s return to Lambeau Field, and Aaron Rodgers’ final “Aaron Rodgers-like” performance of his career in Green Bay. The Cowboys came in as big favorites, but the Packers had a surprise: a breakout performance by Christian Watson to couple with a vintage Rodgers game.

The Packers were supposed to have no chance in this game. Traveling to undefeated Arizona on a short week without Davante Adams, the Packers were given a snowball’s chance in, well, Arizona to come out with a victory. But a gritty offensive performance, solid defense, and a game-sealing interception from former Cardinal castoff Rasul Douglas resulted in the Packers emerging with a huge victory and putting themselves firmly in the mix of contenders in the NFC.

The Packers win in the playoff game at Atlanta against the Falcons is imo one of the best Packer wins and the best performance ever by ARod—he was unstoppable that game. A close second is his performance in the SB.
Go Packers!!!
