Ticket Prices Vary for Remaining Packers Home Games

The Falcons game features the cheapest tickets of the season, while the Lions game is the most expensive.

The Green Bay Packers have been on a historic offensive tear over their last two games. Yet, even with the recent dominance, they will still enter Week 12 behind the Detroit Lions in the NFC North. Over the final six games of the season, the Packers will play three at Lambeau Field, two of which will be well above the season average for Packers tickets on the the secondary market.

According to TiqIQ, the season average across all eight home games is $225.25 on the secondary market. While a game against the Falcons will only have an average price of $133.94, matchups against the Lions and New England Patriots will be much more expensive.

Currently the average price for Packers tickets on TiqIQ against the Patriots is $266.75, 18.4% above the season average. With the way both teams are playing in recent weeks, this could very well be a Super Bowl preview. New England currently sits as the No. 1 seed in the AFC, which would give it home field advantage in the playoffs, something that would be useful if having to eventually face the Denver Broncos.

The average price for a Week 17 game against Detroit is currently $269.28, although that is more likely the midpoint for potential prices when the game actually comes. There’s a chance the game on the final week of the season could be for the NFC North and a first round bye in the playoffs, which would cause prices to rise significantly. However, if either team claims the division title before Week 17, rendering the game relatively meaningless, it’s likely the secondary market demand would drop.

Before any of the happens, though, the Packers will have to get through the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12. This will be the second most expensive home game for the Vikings this season behind their season opener against the Patriots. The $160.53 average price is 42% above Minnesota’s season average at TCF Bank Stadium this season. That would be the second least expensive game at Lambeau this year, above only the Week 14 game against the Falcons.
