Video: Ball Security Drill
A short video of a ball security drill.
By PackerAaron
Obviously, I'm no Greg Bedard. But here's a video I shot of a drill designed to focus on ball security that requires guys to catch a ball over the middle of the field, take a bunch of hits, and then turn up-field and run, hitting a designated area where some pads are set up. The biggest point Jimmy Robinson kept making throughout was that the ball carriers needed to keep the ball "high and tight". And be sure to check out the 45 second mark to see Donald Lee completely wipe out. ;)
(Probably best kept on 'mute' - lots of auxiliary noise in this one.)

So, I'm watching, and I see a #17, look real good, bouncing off the "tacklers", coming through the dummies, high knees, holding the ball "high and tight." Who's 17, I ask myself - oh, it's my guy - Charles Dillon...

Love Dillon's elusiveness. I sure hope there is a final roster spot for him.

After watching this a couple more times. James Jones needs to step it up cause Charles Dillon is gonna take your spot.
