Hoping for a good competition and interaction for some valuable roster spots tonight. Canada is the real clear winner tonight! Wish I was up there. Double down on some football, and then fishing would be a difficult long weekend to beat. Go Pack Go! Eh?

I would have gone to the game except the greedy bugrs were charging over $150 US dollars for a preseason game . I hope that they lose their shirts. Its PRESEASON and they could have sold out the whole 30,000 seats if the price was right no more than $50 Can. And then they couldnt make sure that the field was OK - they knew the goalposts had to come out and the field shortened and made more narrow. I think that the teams also were a little bit over cautious. The rest of the field is ok - CFLers play there all the time and the Steelers - Heinz field is a boulder past especially the day after a college game. But they should not go somewhere without absolute assurance that the field is a NFL field

Poor ticket sales poor field conditions this is a waste of everybody’s time , I am praying nobody gets hurt on either team . Another blunder by the NFL .

Poor field conditions - it’s just a patch in the end zone where the CFL goalpost usually sits, but I hear they may cancel if they can’t find a satisfactory fix.

Guys are slipping out there like Soldier Field in December. I give it till the end of Q1 till they cancel due to poor field conditions and tell the fans "no refunds"

And here is your problem with ticket sales:

“Despite a price drop in one end zone, the average remains some $300 a pop for a seat in the lower bowl.”

$300 for a preseason game in Canada??? What are they smoking???

Last week I watched the Green Bay vs Baltimore game on NFL GamePass while listening to Aaron and Corey in CHTV. The problem was the voice of Aaron/Corey was delayed for about 30 seconds. So, when I listened to Aaron/Corey's comment on play #1, play #2 was already in progress on the GamePass screen.

I'm sorry. 80 year field? No kick off? Canada? I DO NOT like what the NFL and ML are doing. And MM is beginning to look like a fool. I gave up the NBA in the 80's. MLB about 17 years ago. Been a long-term Pack fan since 1964. I'm beginning to feel likewise.

What a fiasco to keep out so many players due to poor conditions with the field!
I wonder if those who are being sent out there feel like second-class citizens -- a little like cannon fodder -- having to put their careers at risk.
Why couldn't all this have been figured out in advance! Now I'm wondering what other incompetence is going on within the Packers organization.
A pathetic embarrassment!

I am pretty sure that they are ecstatic to be in an actual game, and put some plays on tape for all to see.

What a joke. Weren’t the Packers sending someone to inspect the field this week as REPORTED? If so, they should be FIRED. Also, earlier today it was REPORTED that field was NFL standards. What changed? That hole in the end zone didn’t just appear. What is going on here?

Because if he's hurt he can collect checks on IR. If he's hurt he has no value in trade. So we don't want him to get hurt.

So proud to see Pettine taking care of his players. All defenses should begin each play by stepping backwards first and only using their shoulder pads as tackling implements. Who cares that failing to wrap up or attempting to tackle is a penalty in rugby, the NFL is about safety, not technique.

Wow, I never thought preseason could get any worse. Of course we never played on an 80-yard field in Canada before. This game is a joke. I’m worried about more injuries in the second half.

After holding out so many guys from playing at all, why do you leave your top draft pick in the game deep into the second quarter, and after he's already been injured once earlier in the game?

Injury to ESB looked bad. Injury to Lazard didnt look to bad way he walked off field.

Bottomline, good chance ESB ends up on IR. Meaning if true and Pack keep 7 WR's which is highly likely the Pack wouldn't lose any top talented WR's. The Pack could then put JMon on PS. Think there may be a 70% chance he would not be selected.

The above scenario would be satisfactory for the WR resolution I would think.
