Aaron, please, pray that Packers trade AR, or that he retires, because that pushing the cap into the future will distroy any hope for Packers to win.

AR will go of the Father Time Clif next season. All signs are already there.,

Maybe we should consider NOT groveling and actively search for a trade for Rodgers and Adams.

Those two accurately think they are the puppet master and Guet is the puppet. Have you ever heard other negotiators say “we will meet all your demands. How much do you demand? We will gladly compromise everything else for you”?

As the saying goes, better to move on a year early than a year (or more) too late.

true. very true, unless you truly believe AR can deliver a SB, not just wins. SanFran is going to move on from Garop because they believe he cant get them a SB, and they want to see what they have in Lance. We did the same with Favre and AR. So if we dont think AR can deliver a SB, trade him now and get the most you possibly can. Let's see what we have with Love. And for the people who think Love is already a bust, you're prob the same people who thought AR was gonna be a bust, and that it was a wasted trade to get Favre. The point is, you dont know, and neither do I.......

Aaron Rodgers is self centered and doesn’t seem to give a crap about fans, team mates or management. I hope we trade him. He is not worth the money and frustration he demands.

GB can’t start planning and structuring for 2022 until our diva(s) decide if they will “sacrifice” and suck up about $77,000,000 of our Cap space. Maybe if we grovel enough they will let us prorate some of it. I suspect Lombardi would have already traded both Rodgers and Adams by now.

I have to admit I am actually very sad right at the moment. Not because we should be playing the Bengals in the Super Bowl, but because I was just thinking back to last off-season where I was so wrong about what was going to happen.

1. I didn't think there was any way we would spend millions to bring back Aaron Jones, when we could draft another RB to pair with AJ Dillon. - I was wrong...

2. I thought there was absolutely no way they would bring back Kevin King after his bone-headed play (helped) cost us the NFCCG last year. - I was wrong...

3. I thought for sure after our STs the last decade, we would hire a decent STs Coach... - I was wrong...

I can only hope that Aaron and Maggie are wrong this year... SMH

Rodgers staying and making his contract team friendly , Adams gets 2 years at 50 million or 3 years at 66 million , down vote away but remember this post .

I upvoted you but it ain't gonna happen. Both those players wont be signing the deals you mentioned above.
Even if 12 is back it's better we let Adams go and let 12 deal with it. With Adams his problem i.e, Davante vision is only getting bad by each season passed. He plays better when 17 is not on the field.

I upvoted you and I say your correct. Stamp the G on Adams Butt. Lazard, Tonyan , and MVS will be replaced. Good Bye Cobb. and St. Brown. Turner will be staying and they re-work his contract. Amos and the Smiths join in.

Welcome to maybe one more division Championship while the other teams get their act together, declining roster and eventually QB play and a post Rodgers era starting when we are still paying cap for the privilege of being pseudo contenders for Rodgers final last dances.

I wonder who will be running the team in two or three years. It won’t be the FO who does that. The atmosphere in the fan base could turn ugly very quickly. That might even wake up some board members.

The draft has always been the key. Don't pay a veteran when a rookie can give you more playmaking ability. The Smiths, Amos, and Turner gave this team new blood. But= The next move must be a Reload. WRs are the key.

I am both shocked and distraught that you two are talking about extending Rodgers AND paying Adams $30M/yr.

Do the packers have a printing press on the 3rd floor?

Well, if true the wilderness is already here and we are paying to deepen and extend it through almost a decade of futility with little chance at revival.

Love my packers football but inevitable decline that this would ensure and little cap room is going to make it really uninteresting on and off the field for a year or three. Then we start trying to scrabble out of the hole you are proposing we are about to dig, but still paying for our folly.

Worst case scenario for those hoping for a Super Bowl in the next decade. If the FO does it, all responsible will end up paying for it in the end in terms of reputation or future.

Only offer I would give AR is to take responsibilities as Getsy replacement, and that is if he would like to stay in football. I believe that his knowledge and intelligence can help to teach & support young QB (whomever he'll be). AR is now in second year of declining and it is just a matter of time when he will fall of the cliff.

Time to move on. I've seen how this movie ends too many times now. Finally realized after watching the SF game that there are now some things that AR just can't do, so you know how it will end with the current personnel and philosophy in place going forward.
That the Packers used up a lot of Rodgers' best years without addressing the other shortcomings (defense, ST's) is on them. How long has it been since the Seahawk NFCCG ST disaster? 6 seasons? And we were right back there again in the SF game. You know what they say about doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Time to let some guys go and get paid, and say thanks for the memories. A fresh start is in order, Transitions are never easy, but its time.
