Born and raised in Southern California, and with no one in my family a Packers fan or from the great state of Wisconsin, my fandom origin story is strange. My earliest memory is of being a Packers fan, which my mother tells me was born out of the obsession with the Green and Gold colors. They are still my favorite colors (obviously), and by six years old I had my first taste of glory and elation with the first Super Bowl victory of my lifetime. Of course, that was only to become hardened at the next two years, sobbing the night(s) away as the images of Elway diving for the pylon and Owens hanging on to the football were burned in my retinas for eternity. I love this team, and will support them the rest of my days whether they be in LA, or wherever.
My favorite moment of Aaron Rodgers career came in his first year starting back in 08, a loss against the Bucs. It was a competitive game and in the 2nd half Rodgers went down, clutching his shoulder. It was pretty clear he separated it. Noticeably in pain, he stayed in the game and delivered an absolute laser splitting two defenders for a touchdown. He jogged off the field, arm hanging as if it were dead weight. I knew at that moment he was gonna be an all-timer.
Kingsley Enagbare had a promising rookie season but with Rashan Gary set to miss extensive time next season, the Packers need reinforcements along the edge. Aaron chats about that and all things Green and Gold.
