Andrew Luck Stays in School

Stanford quarterback and Heisman Trophy runner-up Andrew Luck is staying in school for the 2011 season, Jon Wilner of the Mercury News reports.

"I'm committed to earning my degree in architectural design and am on track to accomplish this at the completion of the spring of '12", Luck said.

Luck, a red-shirt sophomore, has completed 64.4% of his 660 pass attempts in his career for 5,913 yards with 45 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Luck was named first-team All-Pac 10 and Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Year in 2010, and earlier this week, was named Orange Bowl MVP.

Luck has been called the top quarterback prospect since Peyton Manning, and was expected to be the first overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft.
