Bears TE Brandon Manumaleuna Undergos Knee Surgery

Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that Chicago Bears tight end Brandon Manumaleuna underwent arthroscopic knee surgery and will not be participating in the team's weekend mini-camp.
The Bears signed the 6-2, 300-pound Manumaleuna to a five-year, $15 million dollar contract on the opening day of free agency that included $6.1 million dollars in guarantees.
According to the Tribune, other notable Bears not participating in the mini-camp include defensive tackle Marcus Harrison, center Olin Kreutz, and punter Brad Maynard.
