The Buffalo Bills announced that they have placed fourth-round wide receiver Marcus Easley and sixth-round linebacker Danny Batten on injured reserve.

Easley underwent season-ending knee surgery recently, while Batten was expected to miss up to six weeks with a shoulder injury. Neither player were expected to be major contributors outside of special teams during their rookie seasons.

By placing both players on IR, and not exposing them to waivers, they will still count against the Bills' 80-man roster.
