Bills Place Evans, Nelson on Reserve Lists

The Buffalo Bills announced the placement of wide receiver Lee Evans on injured reserve and tight end Shawn Nelson to the "Reserve/Non-Football Injury" list.

Evans injured his ankle on Sunday, while Nelson has missed the last three weeks with migraine headaches.

Offensive linemen Colin Brown and Erik Pears have been signed to the 53-man roster. Adam Caplan of FOXSports.com reported the signing of Brown, a former fifth-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs who had been on the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad.

Pears entered the NFL with the Denver Broncos, who signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State in 2005. The 6-8, 305-pound Pears has started 30 of 44 games during his career, the last two years of which has been spent with the Oakland Raiders (2009-10) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2010).
