The Denver Broncos have signed linebacker Kevin Alexander and safety Kyle McCarthy off the practice squad, reports Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post.

Running back Andre Brown has been placed on waivers, reports Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post. An additional transaction is forthcoming.

Alexander and McCarthy joined the Broncos as undrafted free agents in April, and have been on Denver's practice squad since the start of the season.

Denver will be without linebackers Robert Ayers and Wesley Woodyard and safety Brian Dawkins for tomorrow's game against the New York Jets.
