Buccaneers Add Malecki, Overbay to Practice Squad

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced the signing of guard John Malecki and tight end Nathan Overbay to the practice squad.

Malecki (6-2, 304) started 26 games at right guard for the University of Pittsburgh after beginning his college career as a defensive tackle. Malecki was signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent in April, and was waived in August and spent training camp with the Cleveland Browns.

The 6-5, 270-pound Overbay played his college ball at Eastern Washington, catching 93 passes for 1,189 yards an EWU-record 19 touchdowns. Overbay spent the pre-season with the Denver Broncos and spent the first week of the season on the Miami Dolphins' practice squad.
