Chargers Reduce Price on 6,500 Season Tickets

The San Diego Chargers have lowered the price on 6,500 season tickets, Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

"We feel this new pricing gives us the best chance to sell out every home game," Chargers Executive Vice-President A.G. Spanos said on Tuesday.

End zone seats in the View level, which comprise just over 9% of Qualcomm Stadium's total seating capacity (70,561), will be reduced from $63 to $54 per game, a reduction of 15%.

Price points for the remaining seats will remain the same for the fourth straight season.

"A lot of factors went into this," Spanos said of the pricing plan. "We looked at our final goal, which was to sell out every game. We felt (these steps are) going to help us do that.

"We think this pricing is pretty compelling."
