Colts Add RB Josh Vaughan to Practice Squad

Free agent running back Josh Vaughan has been added to the Indianapolis Colts' practice squad, a league source said.

Vaughan replaces undrafted rookie running back Brandon Minor, who was placed on the practice squad injured list.

Originally signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Richmond in 2009, the 6-0, 232-pound Vaughan has 49 carries for 139 yards over two pre-seasons' worth of action with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2009) and Carolina Panthers (2010), but has yet to appear on a 53-man NFL roster.

Vaughan spent much of last season as a street free agent before joining the Jaguars' practice squad for the final three weeks of the season. Vaughan signed with the Panthers in May, and spent the first three weeks of this season on their practice squad.
