Colts DT Antonio Johnson Signs RFA Tender

According to a league source, Indianapolis Colts restricted free agent defensive tackle Antonio Johnson has signed his one-year tender.
A fifth-round pick (152nd overall) out of Mississippi State by the Tennessee Titans in 2007, Johnson was tendered at the "Second Round" level. With three accrued seasons, Johnson's base salary in 2010 will be $1.684 million dollars.
Johnson spent his rookie season on injured reserve, and was signed off the Titans' practice squad by the Colts in 2008. In 23 games over two seasons, Johnson has 47 tackles and a quarterback sack. The 6-3, 310-pounder started all 15 games he was active in 2009, and all three of the team's post-season games, including Super Bowl XLIV, totaling three tackles.
Johnson and fellow restricted defensive tackle Daniel Muir, who signed his tender earlier this week, are penciled in as the starters on the Colts' defensive line, but are expected to receive pushes from 2009 second-round pick Fili Moala.
