Colts DT Daniel Muir Signs RFA Tender

Earlier today, Adam Caplan of Scout.com reported Indianapolis Colts restricted free agent safety Melvin Bullitt had signed his one-year tender.

In my report, I had Bullitt as the only one of the Colts' five restricted free agents to have signed his one-year tender, but according to a league source, defensive tackle Daniel Muir has signed his, as well.

An undrafted free agent from Kent State who began his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers, Muir appeared in nine games during his first two seasons in Indianapolis, totaling seven tackles.

Last season, Muir (6-3, 312) started ten games during the regular season, establishing career highs with 52 tackles, including five for a loss, and splitting a sack of St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger with linebacker Clint Session in the Colts' 42-6 win. Muir also started all three of the Colts' post-season games, including Super Bowl XLIV, posting 13 tackles, including 7 against the Baltimore Ravens in the divisional playoffs.
