Cowboys Agree to Terms With 6th Round CB Jamar Wall

The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms on a four-year deal with sixth-round cornerback Jamar Wall.

The Dallas Cowboys have agreed to terms on a four-year deal with sixth-round cornerback Jamar Wall, ESPNDallas.com's Cavin Watkins reports.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but Walls' deal is believed to be worth $1.88 million dollars, with a signing bonus of around $98,000.

A three-year starter at Texas Tech, Wall (5-10, 204) totaled 185 tackles, 9 interceptions, and 34 pass break-ups. Wall earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors in 2007 and 2008, and second-team honors after the 2009 season, and was named the MVP of the 2009 Alamo Bowl.

Wall averaged 23.8 yards per kick return during the ’08 season.

With kick returner Felix Jones expected to play a more prominent role in the offense, and punt returner Patrick Crayton seeking a trade or release, Wall has an opportunity to carve out a role as a return specialist for the Cowboys this season.

Wall is the fourth member of the Cowboys' 2010 Draft class to sign or agree to terms on a contract. The Cowboys report to training camp in San Antonio on July 24.
