Dolphins Downgrade CB Nolan Carroll to Out

Miami Dolphins cornerback Nolan Carroll did not accompany the team on its trip to New England, Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post reports.

Carroll had been listed as "questionable" on the Dolphins' injury report after suffering a concussion during last week's loss to the Detroit Lions.

An undrafted rookie free agent from Maryland, Carroll has appeared in 13 games this season, and has three tackles and an interception. Carroll has been a gunner on special teams, as was the Dolphins player who was tripped by New York Jets strength & conditioning coach Sal Alosi in Week 14.
